ABOUT MOORE ADVOCACY
Advocacy for children with Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s) and disabilities is a crucial process to ensure that all children receive an education that meets their individual needs and learning style. Working with Moore Advocacy for Children involves empowering parents, educators, and community members to collaborate in creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment. Moore Advocacy will guide you through the MTSS and testing process to increase awareness about the rights of children with learning issues.

Catherine Bonds Moore
Owner and Chief Advisor
Catherine is a lifelong resident of Cabarrus County growing up in the Odell Community. She still lives there today in her great-grandfather's home on the family farm. Catherine is a mother of two children, who are both CCS graduates and are active in the Cabarrus community today.
With 35 years of experience as a teacher and school counselor in CCS, Catherine has the experience to know how to meet the needs of students and parents. During her years with CCS, she served as Chair for MTSS/504’s, and served as an LEA (Local Educational Agency) for the exceptional children’s program.
In 2015, Catherine was awarded the Impact Through Education Award from CCS for her service as a school counselor.

After retirement, Catherine began working with parents who were struggling to navigate the complexities of the public school system and began Moore Advocacy for Children.

"I knew firsthand how difficult the school system could be for parents and getting help for their children. My heart for service led me to start Moore Advocacy to help guide parents through the process and help students succeed."
